About the Role: Operation Northleigh is the criminal investigation and response to the Grenfell Tower Fire disaster and represents one of the largest and most complex homicide investigations ever undertaken in the UK. As the investigation enters a critical phase, with cases being prepared for submission to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), we are seeking experienced Civilian Investigators to support this nationally significant operation. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile and complex investigation alongside experienced investigators, legal teams and specialist partners.
Essential skills and experience:
- Valid PIP Level 2 accreditation used within the last 5 years
- Recent serious and/or complex investigation experience
- Experience managing complex investigations within the last 5 years
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- HOLMES experience
- Disclosure experience
- Experience working within collaborative investigative partnerships
- Project management experience
