Job Advert: HR Advisor Location: Basingstoke, RG21 Contract: 3-Month Temporary (Ongoing) Pay Rate: £20.81 per hour (Umbrella) We are seeking a skilled and proactive HR Advisor to join our team on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Employee Relations Specialist, this role offers the opportunity to provide expert advice and guidance on all HR-related matters, enabling managers to handle people management effectively while driving organisational success. Key Responsibilities: Deliver expert advice and guidance on Employee Relations (ER) matters, supporting managers in developing their capability. Use management information and trend analysis to identify and address performance-related issues. Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies, and procedures, applying them consistently across the organisation. Provide support for organisational changes, including restructures, TUPE transfers, and redundancy processes. Prepare and manage documentation for Employment Tribunal cases, providing technical support where necessary. Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other team members to implement organisational initiatives and priorities. Coach and advise managers in handling ER issues, such as dismissals, appeals, and grievances, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills. Identify training needs and work with the Learning and Development team to upskill managers on managing performance and risk effectively. Essential Skills and Experience: Strong knowledge of current and forthcoming employment legislation. Proven experience in handling complex ER cases and providing sound HR advice. Ability to analyse management information to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions. Experience supporting organisational change, including restructures and TUPE. Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills to build the capability of line managers. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information in line with Data Protection legislation.
