We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team at a brand new specialist independent day school opening in Hemel Hempstead. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something from the ground up — shaping therapy provision from day one in a purpose-built, well-resourced environment. The school caters for boys and girls aged 5–16 with a range of special educational needs including ADHD, autism, speech, language and communication difficulties, and social and emotional difficulties.

As a Senior SaLT, you will work collaboratively across the school to ensure therapeutic support is woven into every aspect of education and daily life. You will provide consultation, workshops, training, and clinical guidance to educational teams, while also delivering direct, evidence-based interventions to pupils with complex and varied needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist speech, language, and communication assessments and develop individualised intervention plans
  • Provide direct 1:1 and group therapy in line with pupils' EHC plans
