An excellent opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and organised Scheme Manager to support residents within a homeownership scheme in Hatfield, promoting independence, wellbeing and the delivery of high-quality, safe and value-for-money housing services.
The Role
- Act as the primary contact for residents, providing information, advice and support to promote independent living.
- Assess individual resident needs and prepare, implement and review tailored support plans.
- Liaise with families, carers and external agencies to ensure holistic support is in place.
- Coordinate local services to ensure schemes are clean, secure and well maintained.
- Monitor contractor performance and take appropriate action where standards are not met.
- Carry out health & safety checks, risk assessments and scheme inspections.
- Support local housing teams with administrative duties, resales, income recovery and resident consultation.
The Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar scheme-based or housing support role, with a strong understanding of supporting older or vulnerable residents.
- Experience supporting older people or residents with varying support needs.
- Knowledge of housing management, resident involvement and community care practices.
- Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Competent in using IT systems, including basic Microsoft Word, Excel and housing databases.
The Contract
- Working Hours: 37 hours per week, full time.
- Length of Contract: 3 Month Fixed-Term Contract.
- Rate: £24,510 per year, plus benefits.
