Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Community Staff Nurses and Practice Nurses to support community nursing services across Great Yarmouth, Northern Villages, Gorleston, Waveney and Lowestoft.
We are seeking two experienced nurses to provide additional support during the summer holiday period, from mid-July through to the first week of September. The client is ideally looking for clinicians who can commit to a consistent Monday to Saturday schedule to ensure continuity of care.
Assignment Details
- Days: Monday to Saturday (5 day Schedule)
- Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Contact: Locum | Mid-July 2026 to Early September 2026 | Community-based role
- Location: Great Yarmouth, Northern Villages, Gorleston, Waveney and Lowestoft
- Pay: £37 p.h via Umbrella / £32.50 PAYE inclusive p.h (Weekdays)
- £40 p.h via Umbrella / £35 PAYE Inclusive p.h (Weekends)
- + £150 Welcome Bonus
Essential Experience and Skills
Candidates must have previous experience working within a Community Nursing, District Nursing or Practice Nursing setting and be confident managing patients independently within the community.
Essential skills include:
- Diabetes care and management
- B12 injections
- Subcutaneous injections
- Wound assessment and wound care
- Lower limb wound care (training and competency essential)
- Catheter care (male, female and suprapubic)
Desirable skills include:
- Compression bandaging
- Experience with various compression bandaging systems
- Community caseload management
- Electronic patient record systems
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (NMC Registered)
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
- Community nursing experience
- Right to work in the UK
