Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established multidisciplinary construction consultancy for a Project Manager to join their growing team based in Gateshead.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager with around 2-5 years' experience to join a respected consultancy delivering projects across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential, manufacturing, retail and logistics.
Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you'll manage projects from inception through to completion, acting as the key point of contact for clients and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple construction projects from feasibility through to completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal design teams, consultants and contractors.
- Monitor project programmes, budgets and risks.
- Attend client meetings and site visits across the North East and occasionally as far south as North London.
- Produce project reports and ensure projects are delivered to agreed timescales and quality standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a Construction Project Management role.
- Experience working within a construction consultancy, multidisciplinary consultancy or client‑side environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive and organised approach to project delivery.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- The ability to travel when required.
Desirable
- Experience using Microsoft Project.
- APM qualification or working towards one.
- Degree qualified within Construction Project Management, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
