Service Care Solutions are working with a well-established and growing Scottish law firm that is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join its busy Tranent and Galashiels office. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team handling a varied private client caseload, with plenty of scope to develop your experience further.
The Role:
You will support the team across a broad range of private client matters, including:
- Administration of executries, including high-value and taxable estates
- Preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney
- Assisting with trust administration
- Drafting routine correspondence and legal documentation
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and third parties
- Managing files and progressing matters efficiently
- Maintaining accurate records and case management systems
- Delivering a high standard of client care
- Working closely with solicitors and support staff across the firm
About You. you will ideally have:
- Previous Private Client Paralegal experience
- Knowledge of Scottish private client procedures
- Experience preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
