Finance Manager – Capital & Balance Sheet
Job Description
Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in London for a Finance Manager (Capital & Balance Sheet) to join on a temporary basis. The role involves leading capital and fixed asset accounting, ensuring the timely production of revenue and capital accounting entries underpinning the Statement of Accounts.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for producing the Statement of Accounts, Group Accounts, and other statutory returns. They will also provide financial advice related to taxation and VAT, and support the development of capital strategy as part of the medium-term financial strategy, including policy formulation.
Candidate Criteria
- CCAB/CIMA Qualified Accountant with extensive experience
- Experience in leading capital and fixed asset accounting within a Local Authority
- Experience in producing the Statement of Accounts, Group Accounts, and statutory returns
- Experience in developing capital and medium-term financial strategies
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
