Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children, young people and families? We are working with Cheshire East Council to recruit dedicated Family Service Workers to join their early help and prevention services. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team delivering impactful, evidence-based support to families when they need it most.
The Role
As a Family Service Worker, you will work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to deliver targeted interventions that promote positive outcomes and long-term change. You will play a key role in supporting families across the 0-19 age range, ensuring they receive the right help at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of evidence-based programmes to support children and families
- Undertake holistic assessments and develop tailored support plans
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners across Children’s Services
- Provide both 1:1 and group-based interventions
- Support early identification of need and help prevent escalation
- Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to performance data
- Engage with families to ensure their voices shape service delivery
- Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate appropriately
