Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager for an established Children’s Residential support company who are in the process of opening a new 4-bed EBD home in Doncaster. This is a unique opportunity for a strong leader who thrives on building services from the ground up. As a stand-alone home, the successful candidate must be confident in leading teams, driving occupancy, maintaining compliance, and creating a culture of excellence. We have a competitive annual salary on offer of £54,080 with earning potential of up to £64,280 through bonuses.

As Children’s Homes Manager, you will:

  • Lead the registration and opening of the new home
  • Recruit, develop, and manage the staff team
  • Deliver high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance
  • Manage budgets, staffing, occupancy, and performance
  • Promote a strong culture of safeguarding and continuous improvement

What we need from you:

  • Experienced Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager ready for promotion
  • Ideally experienced in opening and registering new children's homes
  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience within children's residential leadership
  • Good or Outstanding Ofsted track record
  • Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification completed or in progress
  • Ability to work independently and lead a stand-alone service
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory compliance
  • Willingness to attend management meetings and interviews at the Head Office in Pontefract
