A client within the Public Sector based in the South East is currently recruiting for a Retrofit Project Manager to join their Homes / Environment & Sustainability team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, permanent position, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority or housing association environment.
The Role
- Key purpose of the role is to project manage the delivery of retrofit, energy efficiency and decarbonisation works across existing housing stock, ensuring projects are delivered compliantly, to a high standard, on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Project manage retrofit and energy improvement programmes across the South East
- Ensure full compliance with PAS 2035, CDM Regulations and all relevant health and safety legislation
- Manage contractor performance, including on-site inspections and regular contract meetings
- Prepare project briefs, specifications and scopes of work to support procurement
- Manage project budgets, invoices, accruals and reporting requirements
The Candidate
- A qualification in construction, surveying, architecture, sustainability or retrofit
- PAS 2035 knowledge and/or accreditation (desirable)
- A valid UK driving licence
Beneficial skills
- Experience delivering planned or capital works within social housing or local authority settings
- Strong contract and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of energy efficiency, decarbonisation and retrofit programmes
