- Pay Rate: £28–£30 per hour LTD (Dependent on Experience)
Responsibilities include:
- Manage medium to high-risk offender caseloads
- Support and guide Probation Services Officers (PSOs) and wider staff
- Assess and respond to risk escalation requests from Community Rehabilitation Companies
- Fulfil statutory safeguarding duties in line with NPS policies
Requirements:
- Probation Qualification Framework (PQF) degree or equivalent
- Probation Studies qualification (Essential)
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment and risk management in a probation context
- Understanding of the Criminal Justice System and the role of the Probation Service
- Knowledge of factors influencing offending (e.g. substance misuse, housing instability)
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
