Job Description

Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading law firm in Chelmsford who are seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their expanding team. Please find below further details with regards to this position.

ROLE: Employment Solicitor
LOCATION: Chelmsford
SALARY: £40,000 – £60,000 (DOE)
PQE: 2+ years

The Role

  • Opportunity for an Employment Solicitor with 2+ years PQE to join a growing team
  • Working closely with the Managing Director and experienced colleagues
  • Advising new and existing clients with practical, commercially focused advice
  • Playing a key role in maintaining exceptional service standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Building strong relationships with clients and professional referrers
  • Advising individuals on employment disputes and workplace issues
  • Supporting businesses with day-to-day employment and HR matters
  • Contributing to team targets, KPIs, and business development activity

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE in Employment Law
  • Strong technical knowledge and a commercial approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident client-facing manner
  • Professional, ethical, and positive in a fast-paced environment
