Service Care Legal have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment Specialist Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive to join our client's team on a temporary basis. Our client is seeking an Employment Specialist Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive to provide expert advice and guidance on employment law matters. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality services to clients, with a focus on providing tailored solutions to complex employment law issues. Please note that this role would require office attendance once per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employment law matters to clients, including employment contracts, disciplinary procedures, and employment disputes.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employment law issues, including gathering evidence and interviewing clients and witnesses.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to resolve employment law disputes, including negotiating settlements and representing clients in court.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive support to clients, including drafting employment contracts and policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment law and provide guidance to clients on the implications of these changes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' post-qualifying experience (PQE) in employment law.
  • Qualified as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
  • Experience of working in the public sector, particularly in local government or another public sector organization.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality services to clients, with a focus on providing tailored solutions to complex employment law issues.
