We are currently recruiting for an experienced EHC Case Coordinator on a fully remote contract.

About the role

You will be responsible for managing Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes, ensuring plans are completed to a high standard and in line with statutory requirements. You will work closely with families, schools, settings, and professionals to ensure children and young people receive the right support.

Key responsibilities

  • Drafting new EHCPs to a high standard and within statutory timescales
  • Amending EHCPs, including phase transfers and key stage changes
  • Processing annual reviews and updating, amending, or ceasing plans where appropriate
  • Supporting EHC Needs Assessments and holding family conversations
  • Ensuring parent, child, and young person views are reflected within plans
  • Incorporating professional advice, preparation for adulthood, SMART outcomes, and appropriate provision
  • Consulting with educational settings in line with parental preference and individual needs
  • Attending annual reviews, SEND meetings, and panels as required
  • Responding to queries from families and settings
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating local authority systems

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an EHC/EHCP Case Coordinator, SEND Case Officer, or similar role
  • Strong experience drafting and amending EHCPs
  • Excellent understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
  • Experience working within statutory SEND timelines
  • Strong communication and case management skills
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently

Contract details

Location: Fully Remote

Rate: £275 per day (Umbrella)
