The role involves joining a busy and well-established corporate team, working closely with an experienced partner and a group of respected lawyers advising some of Scotland’s most dynamic businesses. The role offers a broad mix of corporate work, including:
- Investments and fundraising
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Shareholder arrangements
- Share incentivisation and equity schemes
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing your own portfolio of clients with early and meaningful client contact
- Taking increasing responsibility as you progress, based on capability rather than strict PQE
- Contributing to larger, more complex transactions while leading smaller matters independently
About you:
This opportunity would suit someone who is:
- A qualified solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE in corporate transactional work (some flexibility on PQE)
- Experienced in running transactions from start to finish
- Commercially aware, organised and confident managing competing deadlines
- Personable, client-focused and an excellent communicator
