Service Care Solutions are seeking an experienced Dermatology Consultant, or General Practitioner with Dermatology Interest to support an established service, based in Worthing. The successful candidate will work independently, managing a wide range of adult and paediatric dermatological conditions and providing timely clinical assessments and treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of dermatological conditions within a clinical setting
- Provide specialist clinical advice and treatment plans
- Deliver high-quality, patient‑centred care in line with clinical guidelines
- Work autonomously within scope of practice
- Support the reduction of secondary care referrals by managing appropriate cases in the community
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and clinical governance frameworks
Person Specification
- GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Diploma in Dermatology or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrable experience in dermatology practice
- Ability to work independently
- Desirable
- Accredited GP with Extended Role (GPwER) in Dermatology
- Hospital-based Dermatology experience (Registrar or Staff Grade level)
- Evidence of relevant postgraduate training
