Service Care Solutions is working with a respected local authority, based in Derbyshire, which is seeking an experienced Criminal and Regulatory Solicitor to join their legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional with strong advocacy and prosecutions experience to take on a varied caseload within a supportive local government environment.
Location: Derby – court attendance required
The Role: You will manage a mixed caseload of criminal and regulatory matters on behalf of the authority, including conducting advocacy and providing legal advice across a range of enforcement issues.
- Handling criminal prosecutions and regulatory matters
- Attending court approximately 2–3 times per week
- Managing cases from instruction through to conclusion
- Drafting legal documentation and preparing cases for hearings
Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance. Flexible hours – open to full or part time.
We also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £200.
