Location: West Sussex

Type: Temporary (7 months)

Rate: £31.13 per hour umbrella / £27.93 PAYE Inclusive / £24.92 PAYE Exclusive

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the accurate and timely delivery of end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Technology teams to support the successful transition from SAP to Oracle Fusion (Redwood).
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency, controls, service quality, and employee experience.
  • Provide guidance, support, and expertise to payroll colleagues while helping to develop capability and readiness for future service demands.
Candidate Criteria:
  • Proven experience in a Payroll Manager or senior payroll leadership role within a complex, high-volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and payroll best practices.
  • Experience supporting payroll system implementations, upgrades, or transformation projects; exposure to Oracle Fusion and/or SAP would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a changing environment.
