We are working on behalf of a well-established housing provider in the West Midlands to recruit an experienced Senior Lettings Advisor on a 6-month fixed term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong lettings and allocations experience to join a high-performing team supporting customers into sustainable tenancies across Coventry and surrounding areas.
Key Details
- Salary: £36,149 Full Time Equivalent (pro rata for 26 hours)
- Hours: 26 hours per week, worked over 4 consecutive days
- Contract: 6-month fixed term
- Location: Mobile worker – Coventry & surrounding areas (hybrid working)
- Driving Licence: Essential (travel across patch required)
- DBS: Basic DBS required
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality allocations, lettings, and empty homes service
- Ensure void properties are re-let in line with allocations policy and within target timescales
- Carry out shortlisting and eligibility assessments to support sustainable lettings
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, including Choice Based Lettings and nominations
- Support continuous improvement of lettings processes to enhance customer satisfaction
- Contribute to team performance using digital sign-up and lettings systems
Essential Experience
- Proven experience within the housing sector
- Strong background in lettings and allocations
- Experience managing void turnaround and meeting re-let targets
- Confident working with policies, procedures, and eligibility frameworks
- Ability to work independently across a mobile patch
