We are working on behalf of a well-established housing provider in the West Midlands to recruit an experienced Senior Lettings Advisor on a 6-month fixed term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong lettings and allocations experience to join a high-performing team supporting customers into sustainable tenancies across Coventry and surrounding areas.

Key Details

  • Salary: £36,149 Full Time Equivalent (pro rata for 26 hours)
  • Hours: 26 hours per week, worked over 4 consecutive days
  • Contract: 6-month fixed term
  • Location: Mobile worker – Coventry & surrounding areas (hybrid working)
  • Driving Licence: Essential (travel across patch required)
  • DBS: Basic DBS required

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality allocations, lettings, and empty homes service
  • Ensure void properties are re-let in line with allocations policy and within target timescales
  • Carry out shortlisting and eligibility assessments to support sustainable lettings
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, including Choice Based Lettings and nominations
  • Support continuous improvement of lettings processes to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to team performance using digital sign-up and lettings systems

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience within the housing sector
  • Strong background in lettings and allocations
  • Experience managing void turnaround and meeting re-let targets
  • Confident working with policies, procedures, and eligibility frameworks
  • Ability to work independently across a mobile patch
