Job Description
Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of an accountancy practice in Coventry for an Audit Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. The postholder will manage the full audit processes, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning audits and identifying key risk areas, managing the processes and on-site teams.
- Ensuring client deadlines are met and budgets kept to, while always ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Attending final audit review meetings with the directors and clients, and reporting progress to said directors.
- Managing and reviewing audit team and their work.
Candidate Criteria
- Fully qualified accountant, with experience managing a team of juniors.
- Up-to-date knowledge of latest auditing and reporting standards.
- Experience of maintaining budgets and working within deadlines.
- Effective communicator and interpersonal skills, with ability to work closely with Partners, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
