Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Consultant Cardiologist to support our established client, on a locum basis.

Consultant Cardiologist (Remote)

Location: Remote (UK-based)

Contract Type: Self-employed / Consultancy

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 2–3 days per week, approx. 3–4 hours per day (opportunities to increase hourly day once established)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Cardiologist to join our remote clinical team. This is a flexible, home-based role, ideal for professionals seeking to contribute their expertise to patient care pathways while working in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage cardiology referrals to ensure appropriate patient management
  • Review and interpret diagnostic investigations, including ECGs, echocardiograms, and other relevant tests
  • Contribute to clinical governance through quarterly audits and quality reviews

Essential Requirements

  • GMC registration with a current license to practice
  • CCT in Cardiology or equivalent consultant-level experience
  • Proven expertise in diagnostic review and referral decision-making
  • Excellent communication and clinical judgement
  • Experience with audit and quality improvement initiatives (desirable)
