About the Role: We are working with a well-established organisation to recruit a Communications Assistant to join their busy Communications team on a part-time fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a creative eye and hands-on experience in digital content, social media, and website management. This role will suit someone who enjoys creating engaging content across multiple channels and is confident working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging content for digital channels including social media, videos, graphics and infographics
  • Film and edit short-form video content for social media using iPhone / mobile editing tools
  • Update and maintain website content using WordPress
  • Support internal communications including intranet updates, announcements and staff communications
  • Design posters, leaflets and branded communications using Canva
  • Manage and schedule social media content across business channels
  • Ensure content is accessible, on-brand and aligned with plain English guidelines
  • Support communications campaigns and promotional activity across a range of topics

Requirements: Previous experience in a communications, marketing or digital role.
