I\’m currently working on behalf of a local authority in Seaham who is seeking a Commercial and Leaseholder Coordinator to join their property and housing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in leasehold management, property transactions, and customer service to take on a varied and rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to land sale enquiries and general customer queries
Manage Right to Buy / Right to Acquire processes, including preparing plans, calculating cost floors, and arranging valuations
Support with lease negotiations and act as a point of contact for leasehold coordination
Investigate and resolve boundary disputes and related enquiries
Assist in the preparation of legal packs for property sales
Respond to and resolve service charge enquiries
Raise invoices and process payments
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems – proficiency with the Microsoft Office package is essentialIdeal Candidate:
Experienced in housing, property services, or leasehold administration
Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent communication and organisational skills
