Contract Length: 3 months
Are you an experienced social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Our client in Durham is seeking a Mou Childrens Social Worker to join their Connected Carers Team to support children in finding stability and security in their placements.
Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Complete Reg 24 viability assessments and Full Connected Carers assessments
  • Support, supervise, and conduct reviews with Connected Carers
  • Provide guidance and assistance to carers transitioning from a family/friend role to a carer role
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure the best outcomes for children in care
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in Fostering
  • Strong understanding of the role within a Connected Carers Team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
