Children’s Home Manager – Wisbech Location: Wisbech

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £50,000 basic (OTE up to £71,500 in your first year)

Welcome Bonus: £5,000

Annual Bonus: Up to 21% of salary

Lead with Purpose in Our 3-Bed EBD Children’s Home We’re looking for a compassionate, results-driven individual to lead a dedicated care team at our 3-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) children’s home in Wisbech. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading a stable and committed team to deliver outstanding therapeutic care
  • Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and child-centred home environment
  • Driving continuous improvement and delivering strong outcomes for young people
  • Overseeing staffing, care planning, supervision, and performance
  • Managing budgets and financial performance of the home
  • Embedding safeguarding and compliance in everyday practice
  • Acting as a visible leader and role model for staff and residents

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a senior role within a residential children’s care setting
  • Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People’s Workforce
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Strong working knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, care standards, and safeguarding
  • A hands-on leadership style, with compassion and accountability at its core
  • Full UK driving licence and the ability to participate in on-call duties
