Service Care Solutions is working with a growing Local Authority, based in Leicestershire, which is looking to appoint an experienced Childcare Paralegal to support their busy legal team. This role would suit someone who is confident, highly organised, and able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision. Our client is ideally seeking a very experienced paralegal who is familiar with local authority childcare work and court processes. Role: Childcare Paralegal Location: Local Authority – Leicestershire – Remote Umbrella Rate: £20 – £25ph PAYE Inc. Rate: £18.01 – £22.36ph Key responsibilities will include: General paralegal and administrative support to a qualified solicitor. Preparing and managing court bundles. Diarising court orders and actioning deadlines. Drafting briefs to counsel. Preparing and issuing court applications and proceedings. Assisting with public law childcare matters, including pre-proceedings work. Some involvement in private law matters.The ideal candidate will have: Significant experience in childcare/public law work within a local authority or similar setting. Strong knowledge of court procedures and deadlines. Excellent organisational and administrative skills.Benefits: Remote working. Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.
