Duration: Initial 8 months

Rate: £600 per day (Ltd Company, Outside IR35)

We are currently seeking 7 experienced Educational Psychologists to support a Local Authority in the South West on an initial 8-month contract.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological advice as part of the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs) process, supporting statutory duties within the Local Authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver psychological advice for EHCNA processes
  • Contribute to statutory assessments and reports
  • Work collaboratively with schools, families, and multi-agency teams
  • Conduct face-to-face assessments (essential requirement)

Requirements

  • HCPC registration (essential)
  • Proven experience providing Local Authority psychological advice
  • Ability to work on-site / face-to-face as required
  • Strong report writing and assessment skills
