Service Care Legal are working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Chelmsford looking to recruit a Wills & Probate Solicitor (2–5 years’ PQE) to join its busy and supportive Private Client team. This opportunity would suit a solicitor who enjoys client-facing work and takes pride in delivering clear, sensitive and practical advice during what can be a challenging time for clients.
The Role
- Managing a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters, from straightforward estates through to more complex cases.
- Advising clients on Grants of Probate, estate administration, asset distribution and estate finalisation.
- Handling matters involving Inheritance Tax, trusts and estate planning issues where required.
- Providing a high level of client care, guiding individuals and families through the process with empathy and professionalism.

- Qualified solicitor with 2–5 years’ PQE in wills, probate and estate administration.
- Confident handling matters with minimal supervision, while contributing positively to a team environment.
