Key Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry and multitrade repairs to a high standard.
- Manage daily workload, appointments, and emergency repairs.
- Provide updates to planners/supervisors and report follow-on works.
- Use PDA devices to record work, order materials and maintain accurate job notes.
- Maintain correct use and care of tools, vehicles, materials and equipment.
- Support apprentices and trainees when required.
- Work safely and follow all health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience working in domestic properties.
- Multitrade skills or willingness to undertake further training.
- Good knowledge of construction safety, including asbestos awareness and working at height.
- Ability to use PDAs and complete clear written records.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Clean driving licence.
- Ability to obtain a DBS clearance.
