We are expanding our clinical team and are looking for experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) with V300 Independent Prescribing qualifications to join our dedicated ADHD service. You will play a key role in the safe and effective prescribing, titration, and ongoing management of ADHD medication for adults, working within national and internal clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independent prescribing for adult ADHD patients in accordance with NICE guidelines and internal protocols.
- Manage a defined caseload throughout medication initiation, titration, and maintenance phases.
- Respond to patient queries through secure digital platforms, offering timely and clinically sound advice.
- Complete End of Titration Reviews (EOTRs) and annual medication reviews.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and escalate safeguarding concerns as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, confidential electronic patient records.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to supervision, clinical meetings, and governance activities.
- Support ongoing service improvement and contribute to clinical audits and pathway development.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
- V300 Independent & Supplementary Prescribing qualification.
- Minimum one year of post-prescribing experience within an ADHD service (NHS or private).
- Proven experience in ADHD medication initiation, titration, and ongoing management.
- Sound understanding of clinical governance, risk management, and safeguarding in mental health.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Additional training in ADHD, neurodevelopmental disorders, or psychopharmacology.
- Experience working in digital or remote healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with stimulant and non-stimulant ADHD medication management.
- Strong clinical documentation and digital communication skills.
