Join Our Team as a Credit Controller! Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for an exciting new opportunity? Service Care is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing company based in Preston. We are seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join their dynamic Credit Control team on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid working environment, a competitive salary of £26,600 per annum, and excellent benefits.

About the Credit Controller Role

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, ensuring payment terms are adhered to, and actively chasing overdue payments via telephone and email. You will play a vital role in maintaining positive customer relationships while keeping accounts accurate and up-to-date.

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Making outbound calls to customers to chase unpaid invoices and recording notes on customer accounts
  • Handling customer queries and requests promptly, investigating account discrepancies
  • Proactively collecting cash and reconciling accounts to ensure timely payments
  • Managing daily and weekly banking processes
  • Allocating receipts to individual accounts accurately
  • Processing card payments and maintaining records on Excel
  • Monitoring credit limits, reviewing new credit applications, and maintaining credit hold accounts
  • Releasing orders when payments are received or accounts are settled
  • Performing other ad hoc duties as required
