Locum Practice Nurse – Nelson
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Practice Nurse to support a friendly GP surgery in Nelson on an adhoc basis.
Location: Nelson, BB9
System: EMIS
Rate: £30 LTD per hour / £26 PAYE per hour
Working Hours: Ideally 08:00 – 17:00, flexible on start or finish times
Dates Required: 14th April, 21st April, 28th April
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering patient centred care within organised clinics
- Performing adult and childhood immunisations and cytology, alongside wound care, injections, and routine observations
- Conducting chronic disease reviews and health checks, providing lifestyle advice where appropriate
- Maintaining accurate patient records using EMIS
- Liaising with the wider MDT if and when necessary
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
- Experience working within Primary Care
- Competent in delivering childhood immunisations
- Experience with EMIS system
