Bookkeeper

Service Care Solutions are working alongside a leading accountancy firm who are looking for an accomplished Bookkeeper to join their supportive team on a permanent basis. Please find a description of the role below.

Role: Bookkeeper

Salary: £26,000 to £29,000

Location: Fulwood, Preston.

Working: Full-time, Hybrid (Ideally 3 days per week office attendance)

Job Description

You will join as a Bookkeeper working with commercial, smaller OMBs, sole traders and partnerships across varying industries and turnover.

• Bookkeeping, on cloud-based products (Kashflow, FreeAgent, Xero) as well as SAGE and Excel
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns and assistance with implementation of cloud accounting technologies
• Training clients with bookkeeping
• There will be some onsite client facing element to it as well, working with clients and assisting the accounts team.
• Be IAB qualified, or have a similar qualification in place, with at least 2 – 3 years or more accounting practice experience.
• You will have demonstrable experience of bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns.
• You will be looking to expand on your current skills, within a progressive accountancy practice on a full-time basis.
• You will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work to deadlines.
