Role Overview
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join a busy Urgent Care team in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential clinical and administrative support to patients and clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ECGs and phlebotomy (blood taking) accurately and efficiently.
- Carry out health checks, wound care, and wound dressing.
- Administer B12 injections as required.
- Assist clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using SystmOne.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and health & safety standards.
- Support patients with dignity, compassion, and professionalism.
- Complete administrative tasks related to patient care when required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant in a clinical setting.
- Competent in ECG and phlebotomy procedures.
- Must hold an NHS Smart Card.
- Proficient in using SystmOne.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
