A Local Authority is seeking an experienced EHC Caseworker to provide short-term cover for an existing caseload within a busy SEND service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans
- Draft and amend Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to a high standard
- Coordinate and lead Annual Reviews
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals
- Ensure compliance with statutory SEND processes and timelines
Requirements
- Proven experience working as an EHC / EHCP Caseworker within a Local Authority
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory processes
- Demonstrable experience producing EHCPs end-to-end
- Experience chairing or managing Annual Reviews
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid/agile working model
- Office attendance required 2 days per week (Monday and Thursday)
- Remaining days worked remotely
