Role Overview

  • Preparation and Review of Limited Company Accounts: Prepare and review financial statements for non-audit clients, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and the Companies Act 2006.
  • Company and Personal Tax Returns: Prepare and review corporate tax returns, personal self-assessment tax returns, and ensure timely submission to HMRC.
  • Tax Planning and Advisory: Provide tax planning and advisory services, ensuring clients maximise available tax reliefs and manage tax liabilities effectively.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive advice and addressing their accounting and tax queries.
  • Systems Implementation (Xero): Lead or assist with the setup, implementation, and optimisation of Xero accounting software for clients.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing non-audit limited company accounts.
  • Extensive experience in preparing both company and personal tax returns.
