Assessment Officer 3-Month Contract | 36 Hours per Week £23 Umbrella per Hour | £18 PAYE per Hour Location: Sutton Sutton Council is seeking an Assessment Officer to join their service. This role is regarded as front line service delivery roles. Key Responsibilities: Jointly work with other directorates within the Council, health services, housing services and voluntary organisations Maximise an individual’s potential independence by undertaking assessment, recommendations, rehabilitation techniques, equipment, adaptations, support planning and review for vulnerable and disabled people in the community Identify individuals at risk of abuse and neglect, take action to manage risk and to protect from further abuse or neglect Ensure that practical assistance is provided to vulnerable adults, their families and carersSkills and Experience: Social Work Assistant and/or Occupational Therapy skills and experience Maintain a working knowledge of legislation, regulations, guidance related to adults services NVQ Level 3 or demonstrate relevant experience of working with vulnerable people/families/carersTo apply, please submit your CV
