Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a local authority based in Greater Manchester. They are looking for an Adult Social Care Paralegal to join their expanding legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to work amongst the legal experts and progress your career.
The right candidate will need to have experience in SEND. This role pays a competitive rate of:
- PAYE (Inc. Hol) - £13.73- £18.12 per hour
- Umbrella - £15-£20 per hour
This role is on a fully remote basis and on a 3 month contract with potential to extend.
Responsibilities as an Adult Social Care Paralegal:
- To undertake other legal work as appropriate including legal research and drafting of legal documents.
- To provide advice and guidance, where appropriate, under the supervision of the Legal Services Manager, Senior Solicitor and/or solicitors from the Specialist Team, on adult’s safeguarding, education and associated matters, including education prosecutions, criminal injuries, compensation and disclosure of information to third parties.
- To attend court/tribunal with fee earners and/or counsel as required.
