Salary: £35,000 - £42,000

Service Care Solutions are delighted to be working with a long standing Accountancy Practice in the heart of Accrington. With hybrid working and excellent staff retention, you will be joining a firm that truly cares about their staff.

You will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients, preparing accounts and processing tax returns.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients, keeping all financial records up to date and compliant with accounting standards.
  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports.
  • Conducting regular financial assessments and providing advice to clients regarding tax planning, financial strategies, and business growth opportunities.
  • Developing and implementing financial plans and budgets based on clients' needs.
  • Assisting with statutory financial accounts production for a variety of different clients.
  • Acting as a first port of call for your clients, answering any queries and concerns as and when they arise.
  • Assisting management of junior members of staff.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • ACCA/ACA or QBE
  • Previous experience within an Accountancy Practice
  • Experience of supporting and reviewing work by junior members of staff (desirable)
  • Ability to adhere to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills

In return you will receive:

  • Base salary £35,000 - £42,000

  • Opportunity for full or part time hours (35 hours if full time)
