Service Care Solutions is working alongside the London Borough of Barnet Council, seeking a talented individual to step into a Client Manager role within their growing organization. Below are the details of the position:

  • Role: Accountancy Officer
  • Location: Barnet
  • Salary: £16.50 to £20.17 per hour (PAYE exclusive) / £18.27 to £22.49
  • Working: Hybrid, 37 hours per week
  • Contract: Initial 3 months, ongoing

Role Overview:

  • Administer and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Support the finance management team in preparing budgets, financial reports, and audits.
  • Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions efficiently and in compliance with established procedures.
  • Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain and update financial databases and accounting systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and council policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, businesses, and stakeholders.
  • Respond to financial inquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial process efficiency.
  • Undertake any other duties relevant to the role as required.
