Salary: 19.00 ltd per hour (umbrella rate) equivalent to 14.90 per hour PAYE

Location: Hybrid working, Staffordshire and Stoke probation offices and home
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel across probation offices and custodial settings required)
- Enhanced DBS (adult workforce) and L1 prison clearance
Role Overview:
Work in partnership with the Prison and Probation Service to support individuals in custody and the community with their housing needs. Manage a caseload, conduct assessments, and develop tailored action plans to help clients secure or sustain accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess client needs and create SMART action plans
- Support individuals to find, maintain, or exit accommodation
- Liaise with local authorities and partner agencies
- Provide basic budgeting advice and wider support
- Deliver support to individuals and groups, face-to-face
Person Specification:
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Solution-focused, proactive, and non-judgemental approach
- Ability to manage a busy, people-focused workload
- Good IT skills (MS Office, including Excel and databases)
Desirable Experience:
- Background in criminal justice, housing, or related sectors
- Knowledge of homelessness legislation (training provided)
