Job Description Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as a Supporting Family Worker with Rochdale Council. Rochdale Council are currently looking for someone who is happy to work 37 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate and record observations of supervised family time/contact sessions in Family Hubs and community settings. Engage in direct work with children and families, offering parenting support and child-led play. Work in a trauma-informed manner to support the needs of cared-for children and their families. Ensure court-directed sessions are well-organized and meet the needs of children and families. Manage time effectively to work across multiple locations, including areas outside the borough when needed. What We\’re Looking For: Experience in direct work with children and families, ideally in facilitating and recording family time sessions. A sound understanding of the needs of cared-for children and their families. The ability to work creatively, adapt to a dynamic environment, and meet the needs of diverse families.
