We are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Duty and Assessment Team in Lancaster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake Child Family (C A) Assessments
- Develop and implement effective care and support plans for children and families
- Conduct safeguarding investigations in line with statutory guidance
- Manage a varied caseload within a fast-paced duty environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker (Degree in Social Work or equivalent)
- Registered with Social Work England
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualifying experience
- Proven experience within Duty Assessment or Child Protection (CP) teams
- Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
