We are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Duty and Assessment Team in Lancaster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake Child Family (C A) Assessments
  • Develop and implement effective care and support plans for children and families
  • Conduct safeguarding investigations in line with statutory guidance
  • Manage a varied caseload within a fast-paced duty environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker (Degree in Social Work or equivalent)
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualifying experience
  • Proven experience within Duty Assessment or Child Protection (CP) teams
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
