- Children newly referred for assessment
- Children undergoing the statutory assessment process
- Children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) requiring ongoing review
You’ll continually monitor progress and ensure statutory timescales are met, working collaboratively with schools, families, and professionals to secure the best possible outcomes.Main Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain your allocated caseload efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and write high-quality reports and documentation in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
- Work collaboratively in a multi-agency environment, maintaining strong professional relationships with partners, schools, and families.
- Represent the SEND Assessment and Review Team in meetings and reviews.
- Visit schools and educational settings as required.
- Maintain excellent record-keeping and data management to meet statutory milestones.
About YouWe’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in SEND casework or education-based roles.
- Knowledgeable about the SEND Code of Practice and statutory assessment processes.
- Highly organised with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident working independently and as part of a supportive, collaborative team.
- Calm under pressure, optimistic, and solution-focused when facing challenges.
Working ArrangementsThis is a hybrid working role, requiring two days per week in the office, with the flexibility to work from home for the remainder of your week.
