About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in schools based in the Beeston and Chilwell areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of year groups, supporting children’s academic progress and overall development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning in Years 1–6
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning
- Assist with core subjects including reading, writing, and maths
- Provide targeted support for pupils who need additional help
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience working with primary-aged children (KS1 and/or KS2)
- A positive, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of the primary curriculum
- Relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) – desirable
