Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Family Support Worker in Redbridge. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in delivering outreach and support services to referred families, ensuring that services are efficient, effective, and cost-effective.
Pay rate: £15.83 PAYE / £19.54 Umbrella per hour
Main Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with other Family Support Workers and Managers to ensure the team delivers high-quality services.
- Provide direct support to parents and children, offering advice, guidance, and promoting positive parenting practices.
- Hold an individual case load and work alongside staff to develop a “Team Around the Child” approach.
- Develop and contribute to family care plans, ensuring the safeguarding and well-being of children.
- Participate in professional meetings, case discussions, and care planning, providing detailed case recordings and reports for conferences and meetings.
Requirements:
- Experience working with families and young children, particularly in support or case management roles.
- Enhanced DBS.
- Knowledge of safeguarding protocols and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
