Rate: £16.75 umbrella an hour (£13.34 PAYE an hour)

Start times: 8.45am/9am/9.15am

Finish times: 2pm/3pm/3.15pm/3.30pm/4pm/6pm

Slough Borough Council are looking for Early Years Practitioners to join one of their 4 children’s centres.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute as an experienced practitioner to all aspects of the daily operations of the setting, including implementation of the operational plans and procedures
  • Provide full care and supervision for the children, ensuring that all their needs are met and working in close partnership with staff from local primary schools to provide fully integrated care and education
  • Promote high standards of behaviour and discipline and to uphold and promote the setting’s policies on equalities and inclusion
  • Attend planning and staff meetings as required

Requirements:

  • Must have level 3 Diploma in Early Years
  • Experience of working with children in an early years environment
  • Knowledge of current principles and practices in early education and an understanding of early years legislation, including safeguarding
