Exciting Opportunity: Part-Time Family Time Worker – Staffordshire Area
We’re looking for compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our team as Family Time Workers! If you’re passionate about supporting children and families to build stronger, safer relationships, this could be the perfect role for you.
Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate and facilitate therapeutic family time for children and their families.
- Support parents and carers with guidance and parenting support during family sessions.
- Help children access family time safely, including transportation if needed.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of children and families.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience of working directly with children, families, or carers in a statutory or voluntary setting.
- Understanding of child development and the impact of trauma.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in working with children and families.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage challenging situations calmly.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and restorative approaches.
- Must have unrestricted use of a car (essential).
