Salary Range: £40,000.00 - £55,000.00 per annum
Contextual Overview
Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a growing specialist law firm in the Northwest of England. The firm is expanding its commercial litigation team and seeks a solicitor to handle disputes, debt recovery, asset finance, and insolvency-related matters for commercial clients, including lenders and businesses.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Newly Qualified (NQ) to 3 years' Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Experience in commercial litigation is preferred.
- Solicitors from other practice areas are considered if interested in retraining into commercial litigation.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Manage a caseload of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters with appropriate supervision.
- Assist with disputes involving contractual issues, commercial agreements, and financial obligations.
- Handle debt recovery and asset finance litigation matters.
- Draft legal documents, letters of claim, pleadings, and other court documentation.
- Support matters involving insolvency, enforcement, and recovery of assets.
- Work towards resolving disputes through negotiation, settlement, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with deadlines and procedural requirements.
- Base Pay: £40,000.00 - £55,000.00 per annum (depending on experience).
- Benefits: Hybrid working (post-probation), Holiday Pay, Pension Scheme.
- Referral Bonus: Up to £200 for successful referrals.
